Lecture slides on Apples and Oranges: Comparisons in Sociological Research

Summary: This is my guest lecture for Bsc students who are preparing to write their final thesis. Within the larger course, I try to give a lecture on why comparisons are so foundational for any scientific inquiry. I then continue to explain the logic of good comparative research designs and why multiple regression is basically a tool to mimic such a design statistically.
